Our Thrift Store is in desperate need of some committed volunteers willing to work a few hours a week. We are open from Monday To Friday 11-3. We need help with customer service, sorting of donations and cleaning around the store. If you could spare a few hours a week we would love to have you.
For all current St. Vincent Place volunteers, this is the site where you will find updates, as well as newsletters about how you can help with events and daily operations.
The Vincent Place Newsletter – “Voice for the Volunteer” – is a newsletter for all volunteers in the VP family. It’s to keep you, our volunteers and ambassadors, updated on fundraisers, give you reports on how your contributions are assisting the organization and share with you the news of the organization that you may have not known about. Feel free to browse the pages and post any comments you might want to post.
Each newsletter is in .pdf format. To read the document, ensure you have ADOBE READER installed on your computer or tablet.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
St. Vincent Place relies heavily on our volunteers for our programs to run smoothly and effectively. The Food Bank, Thrift Store and Soup Kitchen are entirely run by groups of volunteers from all over Sault Ste. Marie. We currently have over 100 volunteers, but we could use more. If you have a particular attribute that you think will benefit one or all of our components, then feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or download the Volunteer Application and drop it off, email or fax. Please include your name, email address and telephone number so that we can contact you. You can also contact Nat Cicchelli, the General Manager at 253-2770 ext. 2.
