Thank you for your continued support for St. Vincent Place’s Men’s Shelter and Food Services.
THANK YOU SAULT STE. MARIE! $30,000 WORTH OF FOOD FOR THE COMMUNITY
Saturday’s food drive to support the food bank at St. Vincent Place was a great success, and the organization would like to thank the community for the overwhelming support for those in our community in need. The annual event garnered over $30,000 worth of food and generous cash donations from the Sault Ste. Marie area.
Thank you to our sponsors, CTV and GFL Environmental, our volunteers, the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board, and you, the people of Sault Ste. Marie, for your generous donations and kind spirit.
Special thanks to the St. Vincent Place fundraising committee, spearheaded by Deanna Dalla-Vicenza, fundraising chairperson.
We invite you to check out our Flickr feed of photos of the event!
The community is being called upon to help with the St. Vincent Place 3rd annual Big Blue Box Drive on Saturday, September 28th, 2013. Donations to the St. Vincent Place food bank can be placed in a blue box and placed curbside before 10am, and a St. Vincent Place volunteer, marked with organization’s ID and ribbons will pick it up. Now that the City is phasing out the use of the small blue box, it’s a great way to put it to use for a good cause!
